Day-Wise Itinerary

Day 1: Haridwar to Barkot (Approx. 210 km / 7–8 hrs)

Your spiritual journey begins from Haridwar, one of India’s holiest cities. After an early morning pickup, you will drive through scenic mountain roads, passing rivers, forests, and small hill towns. By evening, you will reach Barkot, a peaceful town located near Yamunotri. Check into your hotel, enjoy dinner, and rest for the next day’s trek.


Day 2: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot

After breakfast, drive to Janki Chatti or Phool Chatti, the starting point of the Yamunotri trek. From here, you will begin a 6 km trek to Yamunotri Temple. Ponies and palanquins are available for those who prefer assistance.

At Yamunotri, take a holy bath in the warm Surya Kund and offer prayers at the temple. After darshan, return to Barkot by evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi (Approx. 100 km / 4 hrs)

Post breakfast, depart for Uttarkashi, a sacred town situated on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. En route, enjoy panoramic mountain views and lush valleys. After arrival, check into your hotel and visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Shakti Temple.

Spend the evening exploring the local market or relaxing. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.


Day 4: Uttarkashi to Gangotri to Uttarkashi (Approx. 200 km round trip)

This day is dedicated to Gangotri, the origin of River Ganga. After an early breakfast, drive towards Gangotri via picturesque routes and dense forests. On reaching the temple, perform darshan and take a holy dip in the icy waters of the Bhagirathi.

You may also visit nearby sacred spots such as Bhagirath Shila and Pandava Gufa. After completing rituals, return to Uttarkashi in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 5: Uttarkashi to Haridwar (Approx. 170 km / 6 hrs)

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Haridwar. Along the way, enjoy the natural charm of the Himalayan foothills. Upon arrival, check into your hotel.

In the evening, you may attend the famous Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, a spiritually uplifting experience. Overnight stay in Haridwar.


Day 6: Departure from Haridwar

After breakfast, your Do Dham Yatra concludes. Depending on your travel schedule, you will be dropped at the railway station, bus stand, or airport. Depart with divine blessings and unforgettable memories.
