Day 1: Delhi – Haridwar
Your journey begins with a drive from Delhi to Haridwar, one of India’s holiest cities. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. In the evening, attend the enchanting Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, where thousands of lamps float on the sacred Ganges. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
Day 2: Haridwar – Barkot
After breakfast, drive to Barkot, located on the banks of the Yamuna River. En route, enjoy scenic mountain views and lush valleys. Barkot serves as the base for the Yamunotri Yatra. Upon arrival, check in and relax. Overnight stay in Barkot.
Day 3: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot
Early morning, drive to Janki Chatti, from where the trek to Yamunotri Temple begins (approximately 6 km). Pilgrims may trek on foot or opt for ponies or palanquins. At Yamunotri, take a holy dip in the hot springs and offer prayers to Goddess Yamuna. Return to Barkot for overnight stay.
Day 4: Barkot – Uttarkashi
After breakfast, proceed to Uttarkashi, a spiritual town situated along the Bhagirathi River. Visit the sacred Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The peaceful environment makes Uttarkashi ideal for rest and acclimatization. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 5: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi
Drive early morning to Gangotri, the origin of the holy River Ganga. Visit the Gangotri Temple and take a dip in the icy waters of Bhagirathi (weather permitting). Spend time in prayer and reflection before returning to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 6: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi
After breakfast, drive to Guptkashi, offering spectacular views of the Himalayan peaks. Visit the ancient Ardhnarishwar Temple. This day allows rest and preparation for the Kedarnath trek. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 7: Guptkashi – Kedarnath
Early morning, drive to Gaurikund, the base for the Kedarnath trek (approximately 16 km). Pilgrims may trek, use ponies, palkis, or helicopter services. On reaching Kedarnath, visit the revered Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Overnight stay near Kedarnath.
Day 8: Kedarnath – Guptkashi
After early morning darshan, trek back to Gaurikund and drive to Guptkashi. The return journey offers beautiful mountain views and a sense of spiritual fulfillment. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 9: Guptkashi – Badrinath
Drive to Badrinath, passing through Joshimath. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Visit Tapt Kund, a natural hot water spring, and attend the evening aarti at Badrinath Temple. Overnight stay in Badrinath.
Day 10: Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag
After morning darshan, visit Mana Village, the last Indian village near the Tibetan border. Later, drive to Rudraprayag, located at the confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.
Day 11: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh
Proceed to Rishikesh, the “Yoga Capital of the World.” Visit Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and local ashrams. Attend the peaceful Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat in the evening. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.
Day 12: Rishikesh – Delhi (Departure)
After breakfast, drive back to Delhi for departure. The tour concludes with divine blessings and lifelong spiritual memories.
