Day-Wise Itinerary and Destinations

Day 1: Delhi to Haridwar (Approx. 220 km / 6–7 hrs)

Your journey begins from Delhi with a scenic drive to Haridwar, one of the most important pilgrimage cities in India. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax.

In the evening, attend the famous Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, where thousands of lamps illuminate the holy river. This spiritual experience sets the tone for the entire yatra. Overnight stay in Haridwar.


Day 2: Haridwar to Guptkashi (Approx. 220 km / 8–9 hrs)

After breakfast, proceed towards Guptkashi, a beautiful town in the Garhwal region. The drive takes you through winding mountain roads, lush valleys, and rivers.

Guptkashi is known for the ancient Vishwanath Temple and serves as the base for Kedarnath. After arrival, check in to your hotel and rest. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.


Day 3: Guptkashi to Kedarnath (Trek Begins)

Early morning, drive to Sonprayag and then reach Gaurikund, the starting point of the Kedarnath trek. From here, begin the 16 km trek to Kedarnath by foot, pony, palanquin, or helicopter (optional).

Upon reaching Kedarnath, visit the sacred Kedarnath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Perform darshan and participate in evening prayers. Stay overnight in a guesthouse or tented accommodation near the temple.


Day 4: Kedarnath to Guptkashi (Return Trek)

Wake up early for morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple. After blessings, start the return trek to Gaurikund and drive back to Guptkashi.

After a long but fulfilling day, relax at your hotel. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.


Day 5: Guptkashi to Joshimath (Approx. 190 km / 7–8 hrs)

Post breakfast, continue your journey to Joshimath, an important town on the route to Badrinath. En route, enjoy breathtaking views of rivers, waterfalls, and Himalayan peaks.

Joshimath is also associated with Adi Shankaracharya and is a major spiritual center. Check in and stay overnight.


Day 6: Joshimath to Badrinath and Mana Village (Approx. 45 km / 2 hrs)

Today, drive to Badrinath and visit the holy Badrinath Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Take a dip in Tapt Kund before darshan, as per tradition.

Later, explore Mana Village, the last Indian village near the Indo-Tibetan border. Visit attractions like Vyas Gufa and Bhim Pul.

Return to Joshimath in the evening. Overnight stay.


Day 7: Joshimath to Rishikesh (Approx. 250 km / 8–9 hrs)

After breakfast, drive towards Rishikesh, the Yoga Capital of the World. On arrival, check in to your hotel.

In the evening, visit Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and attend the Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat. Enjoy the peaceful environment. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.


Day 8: Rishikesh to Delhi (Approx. 240 km / 6 hrs)
