Day-Wise Itinerary & Destinations
Day 1: Arrival in Haridwar
Your journey begins with arrival in Haridwar, one of India’s holiest cities. After hotel check-in, attend the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri in the evening. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot
Drive through scenic mountain roads and riverside views to Barkot. This peaceful town serves as the base for Yamunotri. Rest and acclimatize overnight.
Day 3: Barkot to Yamunotri and Back
Travel to Janki Chatti and trek or ride a pony to Yamunotri Temple. Take a holy dip in Surya Kund and seek blessings of Goddess Yamuna. Return to Barkot for overnight stay.
Day 4: Barkot to Uttarkashi
Proceed to Uttarkashi, located along the Bhagirathi River. Visit Vishwanath Temple and relax in the serene Himalayan environment.
Day 5: Uttarkashi to Gangotri and Back
Drive to Gangotri, the origin of the sacred Ganga. Offer prayers at Gangotri Temple and enjoy stunning glacier views. Return to Uttarkashi by evening.
Day 6: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi
Travel through picturesque valleys to Guptkashi, a major stopover for Kedarnath pilgrims. Visit Ardhanarishwar Temple and prepare for the next day’s trek.
Day 7: Guptkashi to Kedarnath
Drive to Sonprayag/Gaurikund and begin the trek to Kedarnath (approx. 16 km). Helicopter services are also available. Reach Kedarnath Temple and attend evening aarti. Overnight near the shrine.
Day 8: Kedarnath to Guptkashi
After morning darshan, trek back to Gaurikund and drive to Guptkashi. Rest and recover after the spiritual experience.
Day 9: Guptkashi to Joshimath
Proceed towards Joshimath, passing through lush valleys and river confluences. Joshimath is an important spiritual hub and base for Badrinath.
Day 10: Joshimath to Badrinath
Visit the sacred Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Take a dip in Tapt Kund and explore Mana Village, India’s last village. Overnight stay in Badrinath.
Day 11: Badrinath to Rishikesh
