Day-wise Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Haridwar – Drive to Barkot
Begin your journey from Haridwar, one of the holiest cities in India. After pickup from railway station or hotel, proceed towards Barkot, a charming hill town located near the Yamuna valley.
En route, enjoy panoramic views of rivers, pine forests, and mountain ranges. On arrival in Barkot, check in at the hotel, have dinner, and relax for the night.
Overnight Stay: Barkot
Day 2: Barkot to Janki Chatti
After breakfast, drive towards Janki Chatti, the base point for the Yamunotri trek. This short journey passes through beautiful mountain roads and waterfalls.
Upon reaching Janki Chatti, check into your hotel or guesthouse. Spend the rest of the day acclimatizing, exploring the nearby hot water springs, and preparing for the trek.

Day 3: Janki Chatti – Yamunotri – Janki Chatti
This is the most important day of your yatra. Early in the morning, begin the 6 km trek to Yamunotri Temple. You may also opt for pony or palanquin services.
On reaching Yamunotri, take a holy dip in the Surya Kund hot springs and offer prayers at the temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Devotees also cook rice in the hot water as prasad. After darshan, trek back to Janki Chatti.

Day 4: Janki Chatti to Barkot via Hanuman Chatti
After breakfast, start your return journey to Barkot via Hanuman Chatti, a small spiritual town located at the confluence of rivers. Spend some peaceful time here before continuing your drive.
Reach Barkot by evening and relax after the physically demanding trek.

Day 5: Barkot to Uttarkashi
Today, drive towards Uttarkashi, a sacred town situated on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. Known as the “Kashi of the North,” Uttarkashi has strong spiritual importance.
On arrival, visit local temples, explore the market, and enjoy the serene atmosphere. This day adds cultural and spiritual depth to your Yamunotri Yatra.

Day 6: Uttarkashi to Haridwar – Departure
After breakfast, begin your return journey to Haridwar. Enjoy the scenic drive through valleys and riverbanks. Upon arrival, the tour concludes with warm memories and spiritual fulfillment.
You will be dropped at the railway station, bus stand, or hotel as per your schedule.
